Dr. Chan Li Jun

Practice Manager
Dr. Chan embarked on her journey in veterinary medicine at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in the United Kingdom, graduating in 2000. Following her passion for animal care, she began her career as a Small Animal Veterinarian, gaining invaluable experience in Essex and Oxfordshire before returning to her roots in Singapore to continue her practice.

In 2011, Dr. Chan assumed the role of Practice Manager at Town Vets, where she utilizes her veterinary knowledge and compassion to serve as the glue that binds the team together. With a vision for growth and development, she fosters an environment where every member can thrive, ultimately enhancing the well-being of pets and their owners.
​
Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Chan treasures quality time with her family and delights in exploring culinary adventures during her downtime. She also shares her home and heart with a cherished companion, her Singapore Special.

Amanda Soh
Head Nurse
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of Western Australia (UWA) and has been around animals for as long as she can remember. Her experience working on a pet farm fuelled a desire to pursue more advanced animal care, which led her to veterinary nursing.
​
She completed the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing—a nationally recognised Australian qualification that focuses on hands-on clinical training and animal welfare. As Town Vets’ Head Nurse, Amanda brings leadership, initiative, and a calm command of the clinic floor.
​
Amanda resonates with the clinic’s mission of contextual, evidence-based medicine, and takes pride in upholding high standards of nursing care. In her free time, she enjoys grooming and training her dogs, aquascaping, shrimp keeping, and fishing.

Kai
Veterinary Nurse
Kai originally trained in Marine and Offshore Technology, specialising in Naval Architecture. However, her lifelong affection for animals led her to chart a new course in veterinary care—a decision she has never regretted.
​
She completed the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing to strengthen her clinical capabilities and now contributes to the team not only as a nurse but also as Town Vets' inventory manager, keeping day-to-day operations running seamlessly behind the scenes.
​
Kai has a particular fondness for cats and hopes to welcome one into her home soon. Off duty, she enjoys anime, makeup artistry, MMORPGs, and discovering new eats.

Neil Soriano
Veterinary Nurse
Neil began his veterinary journey in the Philippines, where he earned both a Degree in Agriculture and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Central Luzon State University. Since moving to Singapore, he has been a dedicated Veterinary Technician committed to expanding his professional skillset.
​
He is especially interested in surgery and ultrasound, and is passionate about refining his diagnostic and treatment abilities through hands-on experience and team collaboration. Neil thrives in Town Vets’ environment, where growth and high standards go hand in hand.
When he’s not in the clinic, Neil enjoys watching sports, online gaming, and spending time with loved ones.

Junior Veterinary Nurse
Elizabeth brings vibrancy and attentiveness to her role, always balancing enthusiasm with attention to detail. She graduated in 2024 with a Diploma in Veterinary Technology from Temasek Polytechnic, fuelled by a love for animals across all species.

She enjoys learning and applying her knowledge to support both medical care and client relationships, and thrives in Town Vets’ dynamic and supportive team culture.
When she’s not at the clinic, Elizabeth is often found training her pets, crocheting, or dancing along to her favourite tunes.

Anatasia Sim
Junior Veterinary Nurse
Anastasia is a calm and grounded presence in the clinic, known for her quiet diligence and steady hands.
A 2024 graduate from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Veterinary Technology, she developed a strong interest in veterinary medicine during her studies and has joined Town Vets to strengthen her knowledge and skills in this field.
During her free time, she enjoys music, drawing and binging on various TV shows.
Dorothy’s love for animals began during her time volunteering at the Singapore SPCA. That experience, combined with a stint in pet grooming, naturally evolved into a calling in veterinary nursing. She has completed a Certificate II in Animal Studies and is currently pursuing the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

Hands on nursing care to both cats and dogs is where her patient-centred approach truly shines. She has a natural affinity for cats, and excels in gentle handling and low stress techniques, especially for nervous feline patients.
She appreciates the collaborative and growth-oriented culture at Town Vets. Outside of work, she enjoys crafting cardboard houses and toys for her cats, cooking, spending time outdoors, and being with her loved ones.

Chong Woon Yong
Head Receptionist
Woon Yong graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and has been an animal lover for as long as he can remember. After over a decade in the non-profit sector, he made the move into the veterinary field in 2019 to pursue his first passion—working with animals and the people who care for them.

As Head Receptionist at Town Vets, he leads the front-of-house team with warmth, clarity, and purpose. Emphasizing open communication and compassionate service, Woon Yong is committed to delivering a seamless client experience and upholding high standards in every interaction.
​
He continuously seeks ways to enhance the clinic’s service culture and works closely with clients and the medical team to support the best possible care for their pets.
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys writing and reading up on all things curious and obscure.

Khartini Salim
Veterinary Receptionist
Khartini joined the Town Vets team in February 2022, bringing with her a wealth of customer service experience and a deep commitment to exceptional client care.
Having spent 20 years in Canada and the USA before returning to Singapore, Khartini's diverse background enriches her approach to veterinary reception. With a foundation in hospitality management, she excels in delivering compassionate and efficient service to both clients and their pets.
In her free time, Khartini enjoys exploring new culinary experiences and traveling to various destinations, always eager to discover new cultures and flavors.

Amelia Tan
Junior Veterinary Receptionist
Amelia graduated a Bachelor's degree in Financial Management and Hospitality and Tourism Management. With a deep love for animals, she’s the friendly face you'll see greeting both you and your pets with genuine excitement.

Amelia’s goal is to provide the best support to ensure that both you and your pet feel comfortable, cared for, and understood every time you visit.
