Dr. Boon Chia Yun
BVetMed (London) MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Dr Boon graduated in 2001 from The Royal Veterinary College (RVC), London, UK, going straight to work thereafter for a small animal clinic in the UK. After which Dr. Boon practiced with Mount Pleasant Animal Hospital here in Singapore.
With a passion to learn and looking to improve her abilities further, Dr. Boon pursued a Small Animal Surgery Internship in the United States, accepting a position as an Accident and Emergency Clinician at NorthStar VETS, New Jersey, subsequently for 2 years, before returning to home to Singapore in 2009.
The provision of exceptional service and progressive medical care to her patients is the cornerstone of Dr. Boon’s clinical philosophy, coupled with nurturing the potential of the nursing team to the highest potential. She holds a robust belief that open communication with clients provides for healthier medical understanding, thus empowering the client to make improved decisions on behalf of their pets. Dr. Boon continues to embrace Small Animal Medicine and Surgery and is certified (University of Sydney, 2015) in the provision of Ultrasonography.
When not working at Town Vets, Dr. Boon enjoys wakeboarding, cycling, rock climbing, as well as spending time with her husband and dog Sasha.
Dr. Dilshad Malhi
DVM (USA)
Veterinary Surgeon
Dr. Malhi graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison, USA and
came to Singapore in 2014 with her young family.
She joined Town Vets in 2015. Her primary interests are radiology,
opthalmology and she also enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine
including animal welfare. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling,
kickboxing, baking and painting.
Dr. Wang Ping-Yin

Veterinary Surgeon
Dr. Wang graduated from Massey University, New Zealand in 2009. Since 2010, she has been practicing small animal medicine including pocket pets and birds in Singapore.
She has completed a postgraduate certificate in veterinary studies in small animal medicine (focusing on dermatology and internal medicine) in 2014 with Murdoch University. She continues to expand her knowledge and skills in attending conferences, seminars and courses. She has a keen interest in Dermatology and Internal Medicine and she loves cats.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, having a cup of good coffee or tea and watching crime documentaries/drama. Prior to completing her veterinary studies, she gained a bachelor degree in zoology at National Taiwan University and a master degree in applied animal behaviour and welfare at Edinburgh University.
Dr. Emily Soh
BVSc (Sydney) CVA (IVAS)
Veterinary Surgeon
Dr. Wang graduated from Massey University, New Zealand in 2009. Since 2010, she has been practicing small animal medicine including pocket pets and birds in Singapore.

Dr Soh graduated from the University of Sydney, Australia in 2009. Since graduation, she has worked in a variety of small animal hospitals in Sydney and returned to Singapore in 2017.
She received her certification as a veterinary acupuncturist in 2012 and completed a course in trigger point therapy for dogs in 2014. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine (except emergencies) and continues to attend other courses and seminars to improve her skills and knowledge as a veterinarian. Her special interests are in dog and cat dentistry, nutrition, and western and Chinese herbal medicine. She believes in approaching animals in a gentle manner, respecting their personal space to help them remain as calm and stress-free as possible.
In her free time, Dr Soh enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cuddling her cat and dogs, as well as rock climbing, yoga and watching a good sci-fi/horror movie.
Dr. Caroline Shang
BVSc (Melb)
Veterinary Surgeon
Dr Shang graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Since graduation, she has worked in Australia for a few years before returning to Singapore in 2020.
With a keen interest in small animal surgery, Dr Shang has pursued a Small Animal Surgical internship at a specialist centre in Australia before returning to Singapore. She also has a soft spot for birds and has been invited as guest speaker at the avicultural conventions held in Brisbane and Sydney during her school years.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, going for sports activities as well as attending concerts and food hunting.
Dr. Chan Li Jun
BVetMed (London) MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Dr Chan graduated in 2000 from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), UK. She worked in Essex and Oxfordshire as a Small Animal Veterinarian for 3 years before coming back to Singapore and working at the Namly Animal Clinic for a further 7 years.

She now manages the clinic alongside her Singapore Special. On her days off, Dr Chan is busy with family, skiing and pursuing new food jaunts to try out.
